Whenever we buy a product we have to select it from a variety of products supplied by various manufacturers/suppliers. To select the best possible supplier we weigh each available option with respect to predetermined criteria.
Scenario : In this study we will consider case of selecting supplier for a “material handling robot”. I have listed a few criteria and also their sub criteria.
The definition of each criteria is given in respective question. We have to evaluate importance rating of each criterion. This study will indicate which criteria are important for selection of robot suppliers
These criteria are as follows: Quality, Delivery, Price, Service, Manufacturing Capability, Technical requirements, Organizational factors and Risk factors.
The question will ask you to indicate how important is given criterion compared to remaining criteria. Please indicate the answer keeping the above mentioned scenario in mind.
